How do I used Coupon Codes?

If you subscribe to our newsletter you will receive information about our monthly and holiday deals, including coupon codes! To use a coupon code be sure to include the item (ex: Hershey Kisses) in your cart and enter the coupon code (ex: "KISS" without quotations) during the check-out process!

What does "desired delivery date" mean?

The desired delivery date is a date that the customer would prefer that their gift box would arrive to the recipient. Our goal is to have the shipper make the desired delivery date, however, it cannot be a guarantee. See the shipping policy to view shipping transit times. You may also consider using expedited shipping options instead of (free) ground, if you need a shorter transit time. All expedited shipments must be ordered by 12pm, in order to get to the FedEx Air terminal on time!

When does my order ship?

The orders that we receive on business days before 12:00PM EST can be shipped that same day (depending on the customers stated Desired Delivery Date). All orders placed after this time will be shipped on the next business day. However, if special arrangements need to be made, you can contact us at info@balloonbag.com.

What is FREE shipping?

The $36.95 charge for the Balloon-in-a-Box gift includes FedEx Ground/Home Delivery or USPS. Please note, if you are shipping to a residential area, FedEx Home Delivery does not deliver on Sundays or Mondays. If you have a desired delivery date, please take into account transit time! FedEx 2-day, Express, and Next-Day Air options are available for an extra shipping charge. All 4-5 day & some 3 day FedEx transit shipments are delivered by USPS Priority Mail for expediency purposes.

I made a mistake entering my billing information while placing my order. What can I do to fix this?

Send us an email at info@balloon-bag.com or visit our ‘Contact Us’ page to send us your correct billing information. We will acknowledge within 48hrs that we have corrected the bill to: on your account for your next order.

Is the recipient of the package required to be home to sign for the package?

FedEx/USPS does not require signatures for Balloon-in-a-Box shipments. If you would like to require a signature, let us know in the comments section of your order! There is an additional fee from FedEx/USPS to require a signature.

How can I send a file (a picture, a document, a letter, etc.) along with my Balloon-in-a-Box?

After you place your online order, you will be able to attach files. By submitting this form and uploading your file, we will add your form to your order. If you missed the form, send us an email with your file attached and your order number in the subject line to info@balloon-bag.com we will then manually add your file to your order.  

What days can my order be delivered on?

FedEx Home Delivery (to residential locations) delivers Tuesday through Saturday. FedEx Ground (to commercial locations) delivers on Monday through Friday. In the event that your order needs to be delivered on a weekend to either a residential or commercial location, we will try to deliver on the Friday or Saturday prior to your desired delivery date.

USPS delivers Monday through Saturday via their Priority Mail service.

Will my balloon order be affected by temperature?

The Mylar (foil) balloons that we send in our Balloon-in-a-Box gifts are affected by extreme heat and cold conditions, as well as high altitude. Unfortunately, sometimes a balloon may burst and/or deflate in transit. Just like a physical balloon store we cannot predict what will happen to a balloon after it leaves our facility, but we take reasonable precautions to prevent breakage, such as under-inflating balloons in hot weather.

If I receive a damaged product, how do I file a claim?

 All claims must be submitted within 48hrs and be accompanied by a complete photo of your claim. By complete photo we mean, we will need two photos (no video) of the boxes four corners so we can see the most prominent views of the box and another photo of the deflated balloon. Our shipping team will then review your request and reply back within 48hrs as to a decision. Please remember we use shipping services (FedEx, UPS, USPS) to carry our packages, its important to both you and we to get this correct for the recipient thats why we ask you to provide the best claim information so we can have this claim correct the fastest way possible.  Please send all correspondence to our email at info@balloonbag.com and let us know you have a claim right away!

Can I return my order?

We cannot accept any balloons as a refund. Please do no ship us balloons as a return. However, if your order was returned to us ‘undeliverable’ by FedEx we will investigate the issue..

Do you ship to APO/FPO addresses?

Yes, but only via USPS Express, due to the nature of our products, we prefer for an order to reach its destination quickly and avoid extreme heat and/or cold in transit.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards (MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express) Amazon Payments and PayPal. Unfortunately we cannot accept checks and/or money orders.

What are my shipping options?

Included in the standard $36.95 charge for a Balloon-in-a-Box is the shipping charge for FedEx Ground/Home Delivery or USPS Priority 2-Day Mail. If you need a faster shipping option, we also offer 3-Day, 2-Day, and 1-Day Air via FedEx, at an additional cost. All expedited air shipments must be ordered by 12 PM in order to get to the FedEx Air terminal on time!

How is my order packaged?

All Balloon-in-a-Boxes are sent in a white, square, cardboard box. The box is unmarked, in order to maintain the surprise, except for red letters which say "Do not open with a sharp object!". Inside, the balloon is tied with ribbon to a plastic balloon clip. We will put the packing slip, which lists the purchaser and the intended recipient as well as the personal message (in an envelope) inside the clip. We never send a priced invoice in the box, as this is a gift!

Additionally, all Balloon-in-a-Boxes come with an assortment of small gifts, depending on the selected Balloon. For example, a birthday balloon box can include a party hat, a party horn, and bead necklaces! Gifts that come with the box may vary. The customer may also choose from our selection of special gift attachments which includes different candy, novelties and fun gifts!
